General Manager Circa £75K, car and generous benefits package, Birmingham
Our Client is a leading, global machine tool and systems company servicing an international customer base in Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Rail, Renewable Energies and General Machining business sectors. As a result of business restructuring and ambitious business development plans, we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced business manager who, reporting to the UK Managing Director, will take responsibility for the day to day management of MAG Maintenance UK ltd, its Birmingham based sales, parts and maintenance service centre, employing over 70 engineers and business support staff In addition to proven business acumen and leadership skills, the successful candidate will have: . A degree in Engineering or relevant discipline . A technical understanding of the Machine Tool industry . Experience of delivering machine maintenance and support services . Exceptional operational management skills . An ability to develop and deliver new business opportunities Whilst not essential, an ability to speak German and experience in the use of SAP or similar ERP systems is also desirable.
