Meet Christine Walker
Senior Consultant Tel: 01782 366180 Email: christine.walker@mpcg.co.uk From a background in accountancy, I joined the HR world in 1991 at Staffordshire Training & Enterprise Council and undertook my professional studies at Staffordshire University. After a number of years in the public sector I left and joined the private sector working as Group HR Manager for a telecommunications company. I returned to the public sector in 2001 to Staffordshire Fire & Rescue and was appointed to Assistant Chief Fire Officer/Director of Organisational Learning & Development in 2004. During this period I focused on strategic leadership, changing culture and business transformation coupled with efficiencies. I joined the team at MPCG in 2010 working with both public and private sector clients. I am a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, married with a grown up son and a teenage daughter. I am the secretary of a local amateur dramatic company and along with all of my family get involved in the production and performance of plays. I also enjoy motor sport and fine wines, but not together. |
