  • Group Workshops

Group outplacement workshops help candidates facing redundancy, or career change, by training them to consider the important issues and questions arising at times of job change. A group workshop typically covers:

    · How to choose your new direction
    · Where to find job vacancies
    · Knowing your strengths and skills
    · Writing successful letters and CVs
    · Interview techniques and preparation
    · Networking and the hidden job market
    · Using the internet and social media
    · Practical advice including coping with change and redundancy questions.

In addition to the outplacement workshops, candidates receive ongoing support by telephone and email.

  • Individual One to One

This bespoke support is often offered where specific issues need to be handled carefully, such as health or family worries or employees with long service.

Each candidate is unique and our support is flexible to their needs. Our dedicated consultant will work with the employee using a mixture of face to face meetings, email and telephone support.

Together they will determine the individual's career aims, their strengths & weaknesses, build up a strong professional CV and create a personal plan of action.

All candidates will have the opportunity to receive interview coaching and an interview preparation session.

  • Executive Programmes

MPCG works with senior executives and directors to coach and support them through change. We match the individual with one of our most experienced consultants for an extended programme of meetings and support, for up to 12 months if necessary.

Discussions will focus on career direction, networking, introductions to search consultants and entering a new role. Psychometric assessments are available where the individual and the consultant believe they will be of value. In addition to the topics offered for group sessions, a typical Executive Programme will include:

    • · Confidential face to face meetings to agree the candidate's objectives, priorities and career aspirations.
    • · Direct access tothe consultant by email and telephone in between face to face meetings to maintain momentum and progress.
    • · Continuous critiques and advice on the candidate's progress, including help with CVs, letters of application, self-marketing including interview techniques.
    • · Additional tools are available such as personality profiling, critical thinking using scenarios, verbal and numerical skills assessments and specifically focused psychometrics.
